Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ProfitOS Engine ("ProfitOS," "we," "our"). By joining the waitlist, applying for the beta, or purchasing a membership, you agree to them.

1. What ProfitOS is

ProfitOS is a profit-leak monitoring service for businesses. Our watchdog specialists read your connected business data — read-only — and flag potential leaks, savings, and opportunities. Findings come to you. You decide what to act on. Today, the site offers a free waitlist and a paid Founding Crew beta; full membership opens August 29, 2026.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and using ProfitOS for a business. You agree the information you give us is accurate.

3. Memberships, billing, and cancellation

Founding Crew Beta — read this before you pay: beta membership is a recurring subscription of $29 per month (cost-only pricing). When the beta period ends, your membership automatically converts to the Charter rate of $197 per month, locked for life. We will email you before the conversion happens. You can cancel anytime, before or after conversion, and you will not be charged again after your current billing period.

Billing: all subscriptions renew automatically each billing period and are processed by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and don't include any applicable taxes.

Cancellation: cancel anytime from your billing portal or by emailing support@profitosengine.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again. Fees already charged are not refunded unless the law requires it.

4. Not financial, tax, or legal advice

ProfitOS findings are informational. They are not financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Always confirm findings with your own CPA, attorney, or advisor before acting. Every business is different — we make no guarantee of any specific savings, recovery, or financial outcome, and individual results will vary.

5. Your data connections

Connections you authorize (like bank feeds through Plaid) are read-only. We cannot move money, make payments, or edit your records. You can disconnect any account at any time. How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to break, probe, or overload our systems, no connecting accounts you aren't authorized to connect, and no reselling access without our written permission.

7. Ownership

We own the ProfitOS platform, brand, characters, and content. You own your business data. You give us permission to process it solely to provide the service to you.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using ProfitOS anytime. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like Sections 4, 7, and 8) survive termination.

10. Changes

If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update the date above and notify members by email before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
